Memorial Day Fair at Sunnyside Gardens Park
On Saturday, May 27, 2017, Sunnyside Gardens Park is hosting its annual Memorial Day Fair from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The event features live entertainment, carnival games, activities for the kids, crafts, and much more. Admission is free for all but does not include rides, activities, or refreshments. Learn more.
The Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade
Recognized as the largest parade in the nation, the Little Neck-Douglaston Memorial Day Parade has been running annually since 1927. This year, it takes place on Monday, May 29 beginning at 2:00 p.m. and stepping off at Jayson Avenue. The route continues along Northern Boulevard to its conclusion at The Divine Wisdom School parking lot. Following the parade, there will be refreshments, a closing ceremony, and a public performance by The Blue Aces, the United States Air Force band. Learn more.
Broadway Astoria Memorial Day Fair
The Broadway Astoria Memorial Day Fair is taking place on Monday, May 29, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Broadway between Steinway and Crescent. The fair features a variety of activities and vendors for the entire family, including local crafts, live music, food, rides, antiques, and much more.
